The Crus

Novaia-2427

The farms’ vineyards are divided in three plots of land, each of which is at the origin of a Cru.

CRU “LE BALZE”

Hectare plant density: 5000 p/ha.
Soil: clayey-calcareous.
Hectare production: 9000 kg/ha.

Appellation origin: it comes from the particular shape of the vineyard with downgrading steps along the hill slope.

CRU “I CANTONI”

Wine appellation: Valpolicella DOC Classico Superiore.

Appellation origin: it comes from the amphitheatre shape vineyard made of downgrading steps inserted at 90° to one another.

This is an excellent example of low impact environment engineering.
